1. Who We Are

EatoSystem is a food system platform operated by Jason Curry. Our purpose is to build a regenerative county-by-county food system for Ireland using AI agents, community participation, and transparent data collection.

2. What Data We Collect

When you engage with the Ireland national agent or any county agent, we collect:

• First name, surname (optional), and email address
• County or country of residence
• Participation type (e.g. farmer, individual, investor)
• Your responses to qualitative questions about food priorities and interests
• Whether you applied to collaborate with the founder
• Any financial contribution made through Stripe

We also collect basic usage analytics through Vercel Analytics (anonymous page view data — no cookies, no cross-site tracking).

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

• Generate your personalised Contribution Report
• Count and display the number of founding participants
• Inform how we build county food systems and prioritise counties
• Contact you about EatoSystem developments (only if you consent, via email)
• Process your financial contribution through Stripe
• Allow Jason Curry to personally follow up with collaboration applicants

4. Data Storage

Participant data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database provider. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe — we do not store card details or payment credentials. Data is stored on servers within the European Economic Area (EEA).

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data. Your data may be processed by:

• Supabase (database storage)
• Stripe (payment processing)
• Vercel (hosting and anonymous analytics)
• Anthropic (AI inference — your conversational inputs may be processed by Claude, but are not retained for AI training)

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable Irish data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to how we use your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

7. Cookies

EatoSystem does not use tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics is cookie-free. Stripe uses cookies for payment processing on their checkout pages, governed by their own privacy policy.

By accessing or using EatoSystem (eatosystem.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Use of the Platform

EatoSystem is a platform for community participation in Ireland's food system development. You may use it to:

• Share your perspective on Ireland's food future
• Register as a founding participant
• Make voluntary financial contributions to support development
• Apply to collaborate with the EatoSystem team
• Access information about the county AI agent network

3. Financial Contributions

Contributions made through EatoSystem are voluntary donations to support the development of the platform and county food system infrastructure. They are not investments and do not confer ownership, equity, or guaranteed returns. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Contributions are generally non-refundable. If you believe a payment was made in error, contact us at hello@eatosystem.com within 7 days.

4. EatoFund Disclaimer

EatoFund is in development and is not yet open for investment. Any information provided about EatoFund is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any securities. Any future investment will involve significant risks. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

5. AI Agent Interactions

The Ireland national agent and county agents on EatoSystem are powered by Claude (Anthropic). Interactions are conversational and advisory in nature. EatoSystem does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated responses and does not accept liability for decisions made based on agent outputs. Agents are not nutritional advisors, financial advisors, or legal advisors.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on EatoSystem — including text, design, brand names (EatoSystem, Eato, EatoBiotics, EatoIndex, EatoFund), and the county agent framework — is the intellectual property of EatoSystem and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

EatoSystem is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties regarding availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. EatoSystem shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of EatoSystem after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
